|Parish Council Elections for May 2014 5 May, 2014|
Please see below for a copy of the results of the May 2014 election for Oakington and Westwick Parish Council. As there were fewer people nominated than available seats, all nominees are automatically elected without a voting process being required.

The eagle eyed among you will notice that David Reeves, the current Chairman, will no longer be a Councillor, as he announced at the recent Annual Parish Meeting that he would not be standing for re-election. This takes effect shortly after the May 22 Election date. What happens next is that at the start of the June meeting, the first item on the Agenda will be the Election of a new Chairman from the elected Councillors below.
We invite all residents who know David and what he has done for the parish to come along to the May meeting to say farewell and thankyou. David's retirement does mean that there will be two vacancies for new Councillors from June. If you think you might be interested why not come along to the May or June meetings to see what is involved? We would be very pleased to see you.
